Financial Policy

Chrysalis Arts Trust is a registered charity whose key mission is to present the Gospel in relevant, entertaining, non threatening ways using the Performing Arts, usually in a cabaret style presentation. To keep a ministry team on the road is an expensive operation and can easily drain our resources.

Our financial policy is to come on a suggested gift basis, for which we try to estimate our costs to keep the charity actively involved on the ‘mission field’. We feel that as a responsible Christian Ministry it is right to operate in this way to allow as many fellowships as possible, large or small, to be able to host a Chrysalis event regardless of cost.

However to operate a quality ministry and as a registered charitable trust we must obviously be able to cover our expenses. The suggested amount that you have been given for this presentation is constantly reviewed and regulated by the trustees and purely covers the cost of doing this production.

We aim to give a professional presentation because we believe it is more effective in this type of ministry and more glorifying to God. Many of our team members are fulltime musicians and actors, and gladly give their time and abilities for a fraction of professional rates in order to be involved in presenting the Gospel in this way. Anything you give above this figure will go into the growth of Chrysalis, and furthering its work in Schools, prisons and other places that cannot give any money at all.

We would like to stress that the fees are suggested amounts only. Please talk to us if there is a problem, and we can work something out!

Thank you so very much for your help.
